Mayor visits Ashoka Garden

FOLLOWING complaintS of contaminated water supply in Ashoka Garden, Mayor Sunil Sood today directed officials to change old and dilapidated pipelines of this area. Sood visited the area today along with BMC Commissioner Manish Singh.

The Mayor took stock of water supply arrangements in Ashoka Garden, New Ashoka Garden, Sethi Nagar and Housing Board Colony.

Sood directed officials to change the six-inch diameter pipeline in Sethi Nagar and Ashoka Garden. He also apprised himself with the functioning of an electronic chlorine doser at Dussehara Maidan sump tank. Sood told officials to carry out leakage repairing work on a priority basis. At Housing Board Colony, Sood directed officials to construct drains and roads. Other BMC officials also accompanied the Mayor.
