Medicos hold candlelight march

Delhi's medical students have been boycotting classes since Apr 26.

Medical students on Sunday held a candlelight vigil to protest the proposed reservation in centres of higher education.

Holding candles in their hands, the students filed past India Gate in a silent march.

Sunday's protest was held under the banner of the Youth for Equality grouping of students from different medical colleges of Delhi.

Candle light vigil to protest quota

The students have been boycotting classes since Wednesday when police used force to break up their protest against moves over OBC quotas in centres of higher education.They have announced plans for a huge demonstration on Tuesday.

The protesting medicos say they are also trying to win support of school and college students from other disciplines as well.
