With his bustling run-up and open-chested mode of delivery, Michael Kasprowicz has proven a wholehearted and reliable wicket-taker since his debut.

One of Australia's most highly respected bowlers, Kasprowicz has overcome many injury setbacks to continually produce consistent and impressive performances.

Kasprowicz's action and pace are both lively and he exhibits a capacity to produce hostile spells over sustained periods.

To this stage of his career, his highest moment probably came when he routed England to claim seven wickets in an innings at The Oval.

Despite his efforts, one feels he has always been under-rated and forced to watch on as many less experienced players have won national honours ahead of him.
