When Congress member Santosh Singh Saluja stormed into the well of the house, a number of opposition members were seen jostling with marshals in their bid to reach speaker’s chair.

Speaker Pradip Kumar Amat was surrounded by marshals after he allowed the two ministers to place deamands for grants of their respective departments.

As the house was adjourned five times, the opposition members refused to accept vigilance inquiry ordered by the government into the alleged scam.

They continued to demand CBI probe claiming that there was prima facie evidence on their allegation of mining scam worth Rs 4,000 crore.

“We are forced to create uproar as the government misled the house by claiming that there was no mining activity in the controversial area in Keonjhar district,” Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh told reporters outside the house.

He said Congress legislators would continue their agitation inside the house till the government asked the CBI to probe the matter.
