Minor alleges gang rape in Ghaziabad
A 16-year-old girl has alleged gang-rape by three unidentified men while her friend claimed that a Ghaziabad police constable molested her in two separate incidents at Vijay Nagar, police said.
A 16-year-old girl has alleged gang-rape by three unidentified men while her friend claimed that a Ghaziabad police constable molested her in two separate incidents at Vijay Nagar, police said.
In her complaint to the police, the girl claimed that she was sitting with her friend at a “secluded spot” in Vijay Nagar on Friday night. At around 11 pm, two beat constables arrived there and took her friend away and molested her.
“She said that when her friend did not return, she started walking towards home. After walking some distance some men offered her a lift in their car. She agreed and was offered a drink laced with sedative. The duo took her to a flat on NH-24 where they called another friend. The trio then raped the girl,” said superintendent of police Shiv Shanker Yadav. Her family lodged a complaint on Saturday morning.
