A minor scuffle broke out between NCP and Shiv Sena workers at a polling booth near the residence of Shiv Sena candidate Shivajirao Adhyalrao Patil in Khed Lok Sabha seat on Monday.

A minor scuffle allegedly broke out between NCP and Shiv Sena workers at a polling booth near the residence of Shiv Sena candidate Shivajirao Adhyalrao Patil in Landhewadi village in Khed Lok Sabha constituency of the district today, sources said here.

However, when contacted, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural) V Mundhe denied the incident saying "we have not received any information of any violence so far."

Patil, a former NCP activist, had switched his allegiance to Shiv Sena following differences with NCP President Sharad Pawar.

The constituency witnesses a fight between the NCP'S sitting MP Ashok Mahol and Patil.
