The state election commission should not be held responsible for it (missing on names) as the enrollment process is conducted by the district collectorate using the government machinery, Bhargava told reporters here.

Bhargava also criticized the citizens for not checking their names in the voters list despite repeated appeal by the state election commission.

Also, the names of those missing in the list can apply with neccessary documents so that they feature in that list, he added.

Meanwhile, the BJP also criticised the state election office for the missing of names from the electoral roll as they had complained about before the elections.

Bhargava said the political parties, too, were responsible for the same as they had been provided with the electoral rolls.
