The international conference will witness representation of all streams of mechanical engineering and participants from all over the world are expected to attend the meet. MNNIT has given full financial support to Dr Yadav through TEQIP grant.

At the conference, Dr Yadav will present his paper on 'Finite Element simulation of plane magnetic Abrasive finishing'.

Dr Yadav and his MTech (CAD/CAM) students Atul Khatri have developed their own finite element method based software for the simulation of very complex finishing process utilising magnetic energy which is used for finishing advanced difficult to finish materials up to micro or nano level of finishing.

Dr Yadav has been working for many years for simulation of micromaching and microfinishing of advanced engineering materials using advanced machining processes.

Through the simulation one can observe complete behaviour of any complex system using computer (virtual experiment) before going for costly actual experimental procedures. During stay at Chicago, Dr Yadav will participate in many sessions related to emerging trends in mechanical engineering.

He will also visit many important industries situated in Chicago including Gas Technology Institute, Mittal Steel, Bums Harbor Tour, Amtrak Car and Locomotive mechanical and Maintenance facilities.
