Addressing a gathering at Dabhoi town here, Modi said people must do something to convey the message of controlling price rise to that UPA government and claimed that his repeated efforts to convey the same has miserably failed.

The Chief Minster also slammed Congress for coming in the way of disbursement of title deeds of forest lands to tribals in the state by challenging it in Supreme Court.

Modi said media was also not taking note of his completion of 3,000 days in office, which he claimed, is a rare achievement.

He, however said, "It does not affect me as I occupy office due to the mandate from poor people."

Modi distributed equipment and assets worth Rs 30 crore among 32,000 beneficiaries of various welfare schemes for the poor in "Garib Kalyan Mela", a scheme launched by state government to mark Modi's 3,000 days in office.
