Taking a dig at BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati on Tuesday said that Gujarat chief minister was responsible for Godhra riots that led to communal clashes and if he is made the Prime Minister, the country would perish under the riots. She was addressing a public rally in Jammu.


The BSP supremo also charged the Congress by saying that since it is projecting ‘Yuvraj’ ( Rahul Gandhi) as its prime ministerial candidate without naming him, the party’s role in governance since Independence has been very unfortunate as the country plunged into deep crisis on all fronts viz corruption, unemployment , and price rise.


Mayawati said that it is only the corporate giants that runs the country and facilitates the parties like Congress, BJP with huge sum of money for winning the elections and later implement its own agendas to benefit its ownself.
