The Indo-US nuclear agreement and the internal security situation are likely to be discussed in the monsoon session of Parliament which will also take up the Office of Profit bill and some other legislations.

This was decided at a meeting of the Coordination Committee of the UPA, the government and Left parties, Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters after the two-and-half hour long meeting at the Prime Minister's residence.
Besides the Parliament Prevention of Disqualification (Amendment) Bill, the other legislations are the Scheduled Tribes (Recognition of forest rights) Bill, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Bill, the Banking Regulation (Amendment) Bill and a bill for reservations for OBCs in educational institutions.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was attended by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister Shivraj Patil, Chidmabaram, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Prithviraj Chavan, political secretary to Congress president Ahmed Patel, CPI(M) leaders Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechury, CPI leaders AB Bardhan and D Raja, Forward Bloc MP Debabrata Biswas and RSP MP Abani Roy.
