?MP will be developed state in few yrs?
?WE WILL ensure that work on Omkareshwar Hydro Power Project finishes in the set timeframe and in the next two to three years MP will be made a developed State,?? said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the gathering after inaugurating the commencement of first unit turbine and generator erection of the Omkareshwar 520-mw Hydroelectric Project today.

“WE WILL ensure that work on Omkareshwar Hydro Power Project finishes in the set timeframe and in the next two to three years MP will be made a developed State,’’ said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the gathering after inaugurating the commencement of first unit turbine and generator erection of the Omkareshwar 520-mw Hydroelectric Project today.
He congratulated Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation (NHDC) for completing the work of Unit 1 turbine on time and maintained that in future also government of MP would sanction schemes to NHDC for execution. This unit will generate 130-mw power.
He informed that site at Sidhi has been selected for power plant and land for the same is being made available.
