MS launches BizTalk Server 2006
Biztalk delivers enhanced BPM and integration capabilities to enterprises and has 23 out-of-the-box application.
Microsoft Corporation India Pvt Ltd on Wednesday launched the next version of its Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) offering – BizTalk Server 2006.

BizTalk Server 2006 is Microsoft’s core offering designed to connect employees, trading partners, processes and information. In India, over 20 customers and 10 partners have been a part of the early adopter program. The product will be available to customers from May 1, 2006.
Breaking the industry norm, BizTalk Server 2006 includes 23 application and technology adapters, helping to advance the affordability of application integration and business process management solutions. The Enterprise and Standard Editions of BizTalk Server 2006 include adapters for popular applications such as SAP, Siebel, Peoplesoft, Oracle Database, and JD Edwards.
“Integrating disparate applications and automating business processes are no longer nice to have, but are essential parts of doing business,” said Mr Steve Sloan, Product Manager, BizTalk Server Product Group, Microsoft Corp.
In India, BizTalk Server has been gaining traction rapidly. Over the last year, the number of customers for the product have more than doubled, and with the launch of BizTalk Server 2006, Microsoft expects its customer base to continue to grow at the same exponential rate.
