CHIEF MINISTER Mulayam Singh Yadav today hoped that a solution would soon be found to the impasse over Delhi government’s decision not to allow entry of UPSRTC buses from National Capital Regional in Delhi.
Replying to questions from media persons the chief minister also justified his government’s move to confer the “Yash Bharati” award on the young actor Abhishek Bachchan.
Referring to the Delhi government’s decision to seize the UPSRTC buses plying from NCR to Delhi the chief minister said Delhi chief minister Sheela Dixit belonged to Uttar Pradesh. “Uttar Pradesh has contributed a lot to the rise of Dixit in politics. Whatever she has gained she owes it to Uttar Pradesh,” said the chief minister adding that he hoped that a solution to the impasse would be found at the Thursday’s meeting between the Delhi chief minister and Uttar Pradesh Minister for Transport Naresh Agarwal.
“I am not aware of the cause behind the Delhi’s government’ ire against UPSRTC buses,” he said adding that the Delhi government was also initiating moves against a park in the NOIDA area. “Delhi government wants to destroy the park by constructing a flyover,” said the chief minister.
