Mumbai student is joint first

Mritika Sen Gupta of Mumbai’s Raj Hans Vidyalaya also stood first in CBSE’s Class XII boards by aggregating 98.4 per cent.

“I worked really hard for my exams, but not with the sole aim to top my class or my batch,” said the 18-year-old science student, who scored 100 per cent marks in math.

“She studied on her own, without any goading. The school has been a great help in her scoring this well, too,” said Debi Sen, Gupta’s mother.
