With a natural flair for designing and a passion for jewellery, a career in jewellery design seemed inevitable for Mumtaz Patel Siddiqui. After completing her Masters degree in advertising and marketing from the University of Leeds, UK, Mumtaz returned to India in 2000 and began experimenting with jewellery design, creating a few pieces for her own pleasure which had an instant appeal among friends.
