Nationalism promotion campaign from Jan 19

‘JHANDA UNCHA Rahe Hamara’ the annual week-long nationalism promotion campaign would begin in Indore from January 19. A meeting of campaign coordinators was held under the chairmanship of Padma Shri Babulal Patodi at Ravindra Natya Grah in Indore recently.

Organisers district administration, Seva Saurabh and Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) have been busy holding meetings for the formalisation of programmes to be held during the week with active public cooperation and involvement.

Representatives of religious, political and social organisations have pledged their support and the participation of youth.

The life of freedom fighters and national heroes would be narrated and flags would be distributed so that the tri-colour could be seen hoisted in every household of the City.

Campaign coordinator Omprakash Nareda said that former ambassador Dr N Jain, former Vice Chancellor Dr P N Kavthekar, environmentalist Dr S L Gargh, former MLA Ratan Patodi, Press Club president Vikas Mishra and representatives from various organisations participated in the meeting.

District Collector Vivek Agarwal, IMC Commissioner P Narhari, Superintendent of Police (SP) Adarsh Katiyar and other officials were also present on the occasion.
