Terrorists lobbed a grenade at the vehicle at Rambagh at 11.55 am, causing injuries to four civilians and a police personnel, official sources said in Srinagar.
The sources said the incident occurred when NC workers were campaigning for the party chief Omar Abdullah in the vehicle — a passenger bus hired for the purpose.
The bus and another BSF vehicle, which was following it were damaged due to the blast, they said.
The injured, identified as constable Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf Sofi, Abdul Ahad (both residents of Rambagh), Mohammad Yaseen and Farooq Ahmad of Chatergam, were rushed to a nearby hospital.
No National Conference worker was among the injured persons, the sources said.
An NC campaign vehicle was attacked by terrorists on Thursday at Magermalbag on the same road leaving seven persons injured.
No terrorist outfit has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
