From the academic session in June, Delhi government-run schools will introduce 'Mind Math' as part of academic activity for students of Class VI and X. The Academic Support Group (ASG), set up by the Education Department to recommend educational reforms, had suggested the idea.
This was accepted by the government. "This would help them perform better in competitive examinations," ASG chairman Prof BN Bajpai said. Besides, a quiz competition Mind Math Quiz would be organised at various levels. The winner would be honoured with a prize as well as a scholarship.
