Chouhan was in Malthone near here to inaugurate a 30-bed hospital and to lay the foundation stone of 24-km road. While addressing a press conference, he said that his top priority is to improve the road condition and the second it is to improve power situation. The Chief Minister said the State had started generating 1300 MW power from the new sources and in next three years another 2300 MW power will be added.
His third priority is to expand irrigation area, then the education, health and employment. Under the employment section the main stress will be on the formation of cottage industries, along with the tourism including religious and natural tourism.
He said that in Madhya Pradesh there is huge scope in the field of information technology, but till date nothing had been done in this field.
He also said that the Cabinet would pass a proposal to honour Dr Sir Hari Singh Gour with the Bharat Ratna. It will be sent to the Central Government and the President of India, he added.
