Hollywood star Nicolas Cage is set to play a superhero in his latest movie Kick-Ass but unfortunately for the actor his character has no superpowers in the film.

but unfortunately for the actor his character has no superpowers in the film.
The comedy follows young comic-book fan Dave Lizewski, played by Aaron Johnson, who dreams of becoming a real-life superhero. He creates a new identity called
Kick-Ass
and assembles his own costume ready to fight crime,

reported.
However, his creation inspires a number of copycat wannabe superheroes, including the pair of Big Daddy played by Cage and his daughter Hit Girl, played by Chloe Moretz. The film forges a relationship with another fledgling superhero Red Mist enacted by Christopher Mintz-Plasse and the duo's relationship is put to the test when they take on local mob boss Frank D'Amico Mark Strong.
The movie's projec release date is April 2010.
