Nine minor girls rescued in Orissa
Nine minor tribal girls were rescued by Orissa police in Orissa while they were being trafficked to other states.
A youth, suspected to be a middleman, was detained during the raid of bus at Kuchinda near Vedvyas, on the outskirts of the town yesterday, police sources said.
The nine, aged between 12 and 16 years, hailed from different villages in neighbouring Sambalpur district.
The parents of the girls were informed and they will be handed over after probe.

- All ten vaccination centres across the city sported colourful curtains and were decorated with flowers. Some centres at BYL Nair hospital and Covid-19 jumbo centre at Bandra Kurla Complex also placed selfie spots with ‘I got my Covid-19 vaccine’ message in the backdrop.
