NLP expert demonstrates skill

A GROUP of local media persons clapped and gasped as R A Verma, a neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) expert and director of Mind’s Eye Education Pvt., Ltd., gave demonstration of mind control and memory power at the Apsara Restaurant today.

The demonstration included walking on burning embers, memorizing random numbers up to 38 digits in normal sequence and backwards, way of memorizing tough English words by attributing visual, auditory and portraying aspects to the words and others. The demonstration was precursor to a two-day workshop on NLP techniques to be conducted at the Samanvay Bhavan on June 10 and 11.

While speaking to the media persons, Verma said that every person has the capacity to make the best use of his brains, but often this is not done and the result is underperformance, lack of confidence, failure and depression. He said that NLP could help to have better control over one’s mind to handle these problems. He said that the proven technique helps in better memorizing, learning of languages and in general better performance and increase in self-confidence.
