Attempts are being made to brand Hindu outfits as terror groups, Munde told PTI in Shrirampur.

He also alleged that the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya Singh is a Congress conspiracy to defame Hindu organisations and saints.

"I have never met her (Pragya) but as a Hindu saint I have full respect for her," he said.

"Investigating agencies probing Malegaon blasts have found no concrete evidence against any Hindu organisation," Munde claimed.

Till date, ISI, SIMI, Indian Mujaheedin and such other organisations have caused bomb blasts. Since the last three years, there have been blasts in nine states in the country and they were caused by organisations having proximity to Pakistan, Munde said

On Raj Thackeray's agitation for the 'Marathi manoos', he said that there was nothing new in it. "Shiv Sena had been fighting over the issue since long," he said.
