'No human remains in ash samples'

Within hours of Congress president Sonia Gandhi raking up the charges, cabinet secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh said six samples were sent to a forensic lab in Agra.

"We've received a preliminary report, there is no presence of any human remains."

The claim comes a day after the samples were sent for tests. Officials had then said a report was expected in a week.
