No Jehaad, it's Qurbaan!
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan fell in love with the title Jehaad and mentioned it in several interviews even though it was not final. Now, producer Karan Johar and director Rensil D’Silva have decided to name the film Qurbaan.

They did not wish to put off the western audiences by calling the film Jehaad which is the Islamic term for Holy War. Also were keen to not endorse Islamic terrorism.
Apparently, with the film already being looked at with some curiosity and suspicion in the global market, the makers did not want to send out the wrong signal at Cannes, an international platform.
Karan and Rensil are planning to call a press conference to correct the media perception about the film's title.
According to sources, the narration of the film is taut and is devoid of songs, dances and melodrama. Kareena and Saif have reportedly done one of the boldest love sequences ever.
