Accusing the BJP of blowing out of proportion minor incidents of violence in Uttar Pradesh, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday affirmed that there is no law and order problem in the state and the government is keeping a close watch on all "troublemakers".
"The BJP men used to stand near police stations. As soon as they would come to know about any dispute in any village, they would encourage it and blow up the issue," he told reporters when asked about law and order problem in the state.
"There is no problem in the state. The government has acted promptly whenever any issue came to light. We are keeping an eye on trouble makers," Yadav said.
Ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) has been alleging that the opposition parties were trying to defame the state government for political mileage by flaring up law and order issues.
