North Zone lifts team championship
NORTH ZONE lifted the team championship in the All India Inter Regional Table Tennis Tournament organised by The Oriental Insurance Co Ltd, Indore region, to commemorate their region?s silver jubilee year.
NORTH ZONE lifted the team championship in the All India Inter Regional Table Tennis Tournament organised by The Oriental Insurance Co Ltd, Indore region, to commemorate their region’s silver jubilee year.
Earlier, the company chairman and managing director M Ramadoss inaugurated the tournament and chief regional manager Dr R K Puri and regional manager S K Boda welcomed the guest.
In the round robin matches, North Zone won the women’s team championship. Their team members Ruchi and S Choudhry helped their zone to win the title.
North Zone defeated West Zone by 3-0, South Zone by 3-1 and host Central Zone by 3-0 to bag the championship while South
Zone bagged the second position.
In the men’s team championship, West Zone beat East Zone by 3-0, Central Zone beat North Zone by 3-2, South Zone beat East Zone by 3-0, West Zone beat North Zone by 3-2, South Zone beat Central Zone by 3-0 and North Zone beat Central Zone respectively.
