The battle for the pitch continues, only this time it was not the two captains but the media managers of the series and the broadcasters of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), who locked horns over the positioning of the equipment around the wicket.
According to media reports here, the curator prepared two wickets for the match and was expecting that the game will be played on the centre wicket but captain Inzamam-ul Haq chose the pitch on the right side of it as the track had some grass and looked harder.
This apparently led to TV broadcasters shifting there equipment accordingly but the change upset the arrangements made by the media managers for the electronic media.
This led to an argument between the two sides, with the broadcasters insisting that they had made the changes after taking permission from the PCB.
