One arrested with narcotics

With the arrest of one person, Noida Police claimed to have busted a gang of narcotic smugglers and recovered 1,450 gram of narcotic substances worth Rs 40 lakh from him.

Superintendent of Police A.K.Tripathi said, “On a tip-off, a Special Operation Group team arrested one narcotic smuggler from Chhijarsi crossing around 6 a.m. He was identified as Sunil Kumar from Sansi.”

“His accomplice Chandan Kumar managed to escape. They were in a Wagon Car when the police team intercepted them. The team found 400 gram Cocaine, 50 gram Smack and one kilogram Ganja.”

Tripathi said a fake driving licence, two mobile phones and 5 SIM cards of various companies were also recovered.
