A TDP worker was killed and two others injured in clashes between TDP and Congress activists in Andhra Pradesh where ten per cent polling was reported this morning for the second phase of simultaneous polls to the Lok Sabha and the Assembly, official sources said.

A TDP worker was stabbed allegedly by Congress activists and two others sustained injuries in group clashes near a polling booth at Pallam village in East Godavari district which led to suspension of polling for some time, police said.
The trouble began over forming of queue before the commencement of polling at 7 a m, police said adding, following a heated argument, activists of TDP and Congress pelted stones at each other.
Later, some Congress workers allegedly stabbed P Srinu and Palladi Babji of TDP.
Srinu succumbed to his injuries while the injured were admitted to hospital, police said.
Polling, which was stopped for about an hour, began in a tense situation.
"About 10 per cent votes have been cast in the first two hours," the sources said here.
