Gen MP Singh feels the environment today has become more competitive than ever before and the Armed Forces have to compete with the Manufacturing and Service Sectors to get the best human resource available. He strongly recommends a career in the Armed Forces as it has many advantages over other sectors, which need to be highlighted.
For example, we are the only non-contributory pensionable service and if our pay, perquisites and concessional facilities are appraised through an exclusive media campaign we would be attracting the cream of the society.
The General Officer who hails from Patiala (Punjab) has traveled extensively within the country and abroad. He is happily married for over 32 years, has a daughter and son who are both settled in the USA. MP’s in MP had a fruitful and satisfying tenure. We wish them all the very best in life.
