While addressing the press conference, Revenue Minister Kamal Patel informed that the proposal sent by the District Collector had been accepted by the government and very soon the state government will bring the supplementary budget and the compensation will be disbursed. District Collector Shiv Shekhar Shukla had prepared a proposal to solve the problems of the displaced farmers of the Rajghat dam in November 2005

A proposal of Rs. 2.60 crore was sent to the state government for approval. This amount would now be disbursed among the 111 farmers who had given their land for the project.

In the year 1985 a project was designed to solve water problem of Sagar and Rajghat Dam was proposed to be constructed. But the project could not start due to lack of political commitment.
