?Overloading to be discouraged?

BHOPAL TRUCK Operators & Transporters? Welfare Society today decided to discourage overloading of trucks from January 1, 2006. According to Bhopal Truck Operators & Transporters Welfare Society Chairman Jatinder Pal Singh Gill, it was decided at a meeting here today to ban overloading from January 1.

BHOPAL TRUCK Operators & Transporters’ Welfare Society today decided to discourage overloading of trucks from January 1, 2006. According to Bhopal Truck Operators & Transporters Welfare Society Chairman Jatinder Pal Singh Gill, it was decided at a meeting here today to ban overloading from January 1.

The Society members at the meeting also demanded faster construction of transport nagar and stop exploitation of truckers at barriers. It has also been demanded not to charge toll-tax from registered trucks operating in Madhya Pradesh as they already pay road tax and goods tax.

The Society appealed the State Government to look into their demands.
