Pak returns body of Indian washed away in Jammu floods

Pakistan Rangers have handed over the body of an Indian resident who was washed away by the recent flashfloods in the Ratnu Chak area of Jammu.

Pakistan Rangers have handed over the body of an Indian resident who was washed away by the recent flashfloods in the Ratnu Chak area of Jammu.

The body of Kainth Ram, 75, was handed over on Friday night. Police said the family of the deceased had approached them after he went missing during the floods. The police informed the Border Security Force (BSF), who in turn contacted the Rangers.

The Pakistan Rangers told the BSF that the body had been recovered on Friday afternoon. It was handed over late on Friday at the Octroi post in the Ranbir Singh Pura sector.
