Pak violates ceasefire again, fires along LoC in Poonch

Pakistan rangers again started firing along the line of control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector of the Poonch district On Wednesday night. Defence spokesperson said Pakistan fired from 10pm to 10.30pm and the Indian Army retaliated in an equal measure.

On August 24, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire by resorting to firing and mortar shelling on forward posts and civilian areas in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan fired along the LoC in the Balakote sector, a day after it called off NSA level talks. There have been 92 incidents of cease fire violation by the Pakistan since Ufa agreement.
