World Billiards champion Pankaj Advani has been signed as brand ambassador of 'Golf in Dubai,' the promoters and organisers of world-class events like the Dubai Desert Classic and the Dubai Ladies Masters.

The 21-year-old Doha Asian Games gold medallist joins an impressive array of brand ambassadors which includes big names like Mark O'Meara, Colin Montgomerie, Ernie Els, Thomas Bjorn, Henrik Stenson and Peter Cowen.

"It's, indeed, an honour that my achievements have been recognised by an organisation of the stature of Golf in Dubai, who have very big names as their brand ambassadors," said, a delighted Pankaj who won the world snooker title in 2003 before winning the world title in billiards in 2005.
