Partially blind Kerala girl raped by auto driver
An 18-year-old partially blind girl was allegedly raped by an auto-rickshaw driver in Kerala’s capital city on Friday, TV channels reported. The accused was arrested by after the incident in Thiruvananthapuram.

An 18-year-old partially blind girl was allegedly raped by an auto-rickshaw driver in Kerala’s capital city on Friday, TV channels reported. The accused was arrested by after the incident in Thiruvananthapuram.
The girl, a student of Class 12, claimed that upon finding she had partially lost eyesight, the auto-rickshaw driver took her to an isolated location and sexually assaulted her.
The girl also said her assailant later tried to take her to a lodge but passers-by rescued her and took her to a nearby police station where she registered a complaint.
The girl underwent medical tests to confirm the charges and the police have filed a case, the reports said.
