Addressing a meeting of Block Congress Committees, Vijaypur and Purmandal, Singh said there were prolonged scheduled and unscheduled cuts in the electricicty supply due to which people were facing great hardships.

He said all necessary maintenance works should be undertaken in the scheduled cuts timing and there should be no unscheduled cuts in the name of maintenance work.

Demanding a flyover at Vijaypur Railway Crossing, the PCC vice-president said due to the busy railway line, the road crossing at Vijaypur remained closed for hours and the road traffic remained jammed.
