"Investigations have revealed that persons close to the CM were involved in the attack on Nandi and to save their skin, innocent people and SP leaders were being implicated falsely on the directives of Mayawati", Yadav told reporters in Mainpuri.

He alleged murders have become order of the day under BSP rule.

"Twenty seven SP leaders have been killed during Mayawati's rule," he claimed.

Criticising the Centre for sky rocketing prices of essential commodities, the SP supremo alleged the UPA government was running away from the issue in Parliament.

He charged thousand tonnes of wheat which otherwise could have been distributed among poor rotted in open air and rain.

Yadav alleged Mayawati was disciminating against the people of Mainpuri as the constituency was represented by him.

He said a cancer unit set up during his government was closed as the CM was planning to shift it to Gorakhpur.

The SP supremo said he would raise the issue in Parliament.
