The cola major has been asked to depose again on January 15 even as Coca-Cola India is scheduled to appear before the panel on Wednesday, sources said in New Delhi.

Among the presentations made before the JPC till now have been by all major testing laboratories, ministries and departments dealing with the issue, agencies like the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research and other experts.

JPC is continuing with its hearings even as it has sought extension till the beginning of Parliament's Budget session for presentation of its report.

A motion seeking extension was moved by JPC Chairman Sharad Pawar in Lok Sabha last week.

The JPC was set up during the Monsoon session following a report by a non-governmental organisation that soft drinks contained pesticides above required limits.
