The delegation said that despite SC directive and the dismissal of the review petition of the State Government regarding regularisation of 81 daily wagers, the Government has still not come out with the orders.

The then PHE minister Sunil Nayak had announced in the State Assembly in July 2004 that the process of regularisation is underway and would be completed soon, but nothing further has been done. Advocate General Ravinandan Singh has also given his opinion in favour of the workers.

CITU State president Pramod Pradhan and PHE unit general secretary S K Parashar said the CM has assured the delegation that the SC directive would be implemented soon and action would be taken against guilty officials for the delay.
