Pink Panther II ready to prowl

MGM has apparently decided to come out with a sequel of its hit movie, The Pink Panther.

Steve Martin, who starred in the previous instalment is also expected to be back, as he expressed his willingness to join back based on a slew of interviews he has given recently, according to Moviehole.com quoting a report in IESB.net.

The sequel, however, is not expected to follow the same story line as the first sequel, A Shot in the Dark.

In the first instalment, Clouseau (Peter Sellers) is on the hunt for a killer, but much to the dismay of his boss, won't consider for a moment that the prime suspect, the beautiful maid Maria, could be involved.
