Please allow me to play: Sourav

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly, who was included in the Indian Test team for the first match against Sri Lanka, on Wednesday pleaded with the media to let him concentrate on his game instead of trying to get his reaction on his selection.
"I am not going to give any positive or negative reaction. Please allow me to play," Ganguly told reporters after the first day's play of the four-day Elite A Ranji Trophy match between Bengal and Maharashtra in Pune.
Ganguly was on Tuesday sacked as captain of the Test team too after being sidelined from the one-day international series against Sri Lanka (which India won 6-1) and ongoing rubber against South Africa.
"I would definitely talk to you but only after the match," Ganguly had said on Tuesday and stuck to his stance on Wednesday.
