PM cancels aerial survey of flood-hit Karnataka

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday cancelled his aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in north Karnataka due to bad weather, official sources said.

The Prime Minister also cancelled his visit to a rehabilitation centre of the flood-hit people at Chikkud in Belgaum district, the sources said.

Singh would, however, arrive here in the afternoon and hold a review meeting with the state officials, the sources added.
