PM holds CCS meet on Iraq

LK Advani and George Fernandes were among those who attended the hour-long meeting called shortly after US attack on Iraq today.

Shortly after US and allied forces attacked targets in Iraq, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee held informal discussions with members of Cabinet Committee on Security on the evolving situation.

Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, Defence Minister George Fernandes, External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha and Finance Minister Jaswant Singh attended the hour-long meeting, sources said.
