Posters of the four -- Biplab Banerjee of Baghmundi, Nandakumar Kumbhakar and Lambodar Majhi of Balarampur of
Purulia and Ranjit Paul of neighbouring Bankura district -- who have been absconding for the past six months, were put up in various places in the district.

The posters bearing the photos, names and addresses of the four were put up at Arsa, Baghmundi, Jhalda and Balarampur police station and other areas, Superintendent of Police Rajesh Yadav said.

The posters did not mention the reward amount, but said that information leading to their arrest would be given
"adequate payment."

Ranjit is a member of the Maoist squad and Nandakumar and Lambodar are linkmen, while Biplab is the spokesman of
Adivasi Moolvasi Janaganer Committee, a front organisation of Maoists in the district.
