Police to file report on Apollo by July 7

The city court also warned that no documents could be seized from the hospital without prior permission.

A city court on Wednesday directed Delhi Police to file a status report on investigations related to the case registered against the doctors and management of Apollo hospital by July 7.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau also pointed out that since the case was registered under section 182 (giving false information to a public servant) of the IPC, it being a non-cognisable offence, no one could be arrested without a warrant.

The court also said that no documents could be seized from the hospital without prior permission of the court.
