Powerful explosive device recovered from Assam
A powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from a field in central Assam's Nagaon district, police said in Nagaon, Assam on Sunday.

A powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from a field in central Assam's Nagaon district, police said in Nagaon, Assam on Sunday.
Patrolling police team found the IED, weighing over 1.5kg, in a tiffin box at Nij Dimou village under Bebejia police station limits on Saturday night.
The police also spotted two youth, suspected to be militants, near the field but they escaped under the cover of darkness.
Bomb experts from CRPF defused the IED on Sunday, they added.
