Presentation on energy efficient motors today

SOYBEAN PROCESSORS Association of India (SOPA) in association with the International Copper Promotion Council (India) (ICPCI) would organise an interactive session on ?Increasing Profits Through Energy Efficient Motors? at Hotel Amar Vilas, A B Road, from 7.30 pm tomorrow.

International Copper Promotion Council (India) (ICPCI) Project’s Milind Raje would conduct the session. SOPA Executive Director D R Kalra said that as per the Ministry of Power, if proper attention is paid to the energy efficient equipment then approximately 75 per cent power shortage could be taken care of.

This is a startling statement by the Ministry of Power and needs to be followed up in letter and spirit. The presentation would cover Indian power scenario along with national and international norms of energy efficient motors, efficiency levels and their audit.

The programme is targeted for policy makers and authorities who can implement such energy efficient programmes in their organisations.
